Colourful Summer Flowers (Organic) - Seed kit

cleaning in mid/late April, I sprinkle the seeds everywhere in the beds where gaps have formed. Many of the annual flowers need light to germinate and only need to be scattered on the ground and raked lightly. With enough moisture they usually germinate very reliably within 1-3 weeks and do not need any further care from then until flowering. Especially in late summer until autumn, the colourful flowers will delight your heart when you walk through the garden.

This seed set contains seeds for 5 colourful annual summer flower varieties:

• China aster (organic) (Callistephus chinensis)
  It has been cultivated in China for 2000 years and in Europe since the 18th century as an ornamental plant in flowerbeds, cottage gardens and as a cut flower.
• Golden everlasting, strawflower (organic) (Xerochrysum bracteatum)
  Colourful permanent bloomer and butterfly magnet in summer. Excellent as a cut and dried flower.
• Pink spiny spiderflower (organic) (Cleome spinosa)
  It is a tall beauty from South America, now also at home in Central European gardens as an annual plant. Its filigree, impressive pink flowers float very decoratively above other, smaller flowering plants in the flower patch.
• Moldavian dragonhead (organic) (Dracocephalum moldavica)
  Is a beautiful, very nectar-rich flowering plant that enriches every flower bed. The blue-violet and sometimes white blossoms look like a dragon's mouth about to spit fire immediately.
• Mourningbride, sweet scabious (organic) (Scabiosa atropurpurea)
  Annual summer flower, which has many beautiful, large flowers to offer from pink to dark purple. A great permanent flowering plant for the whole summer, which can also be used as a cut flower.

The seeds of each flower variety are packaged in a separate sachet.
