Semences pour des arbres

La culture des arbres à partir de graines est certainement une approche plutôt inhabituelle pour le jardinage, notamment par rapport au shopping à la pépinière. Pourtant, même si elle peut être une voie plus longue à vos propres arbres, pour de nombreuses espèces c'est très intéressant.

Les graines d'arbres fruitiers peuvent être des noyaux de fruits à noyaux ou graines de fruits à pepin, et les deux nécessitent souvent un traitement spécial afin d'être capables de germer, parce qu'ils ont une coquille dure et imperméable à l'eau. En outre, en général une stratification à froid est nécessaire, comme dans leurs habitats naturels des graines d'arbres reposent pendant l'hiver, avant qu'elles germent et poussent l'année prochaine.

En particulier les arbres à noix, toutes sortes de arbres fruitiers non greffés, des arbustes et des haies sont d'excellents candidats pour la croissance à partir de graines.
